Blastrac Europe is now equipped with seven Kardex towers, installed to improve our central warehouse in Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. The lift module is an enclosed system of vertically arranged trays, an extraction platform and a series of computerised controls that delivers items to an ergonomically positioned workstation. This system makes optimal use of room height because it saves up to 80% of floor space compared to conventional storage methods.
The Kardex system greatly improves picking performance, productivity and stock level management. The system is linked to our internal system where we are able to control everything. A large part of our spare parts and consumables stock is now stored in these towers.
Thanks to this device, we are able to prepare your orders in a faster, safer and more precise way.
